My autobiografy


Hi, my name is Cristóbal, I was born in the little town of San Vicente de Tagua Tagua, on May 11th of 1993 . I grew up in Pichidegua, it’s a little commune, my family have a little farm, we have cows, pigs, a lot of chickens and a corn plantations of.

I used to live with my mom, my grandfather and my uncle, when I was a kid went to the Caleuche school, it was a little institution near home, then I went to Nehuen school, in the town of San Vicente, then I signed at the Nursing School, in the Catholic University of Maule, I studied for a 5 years, but realized that I wasn´t happy with my carrer.   

So I decided change my life, take my life and left behind the nursing school, signed to Filmmaking school to reach my dream of become a film maker.

Post 6: Gargoyles

 There was a time, a chaotic era, called the decade of the 90s. at this time there was a little boy who enjoyed watching movies and cartoons, and one of his favorites ones was “GARGOYLES”, a cartoon about a group of gargoyles came from the medieval times, frozen in cold stone by a thousand years, become to life to this time and wake up in NY. This was a complex series, about heroes, brotherhood and loyalty. An amazing soundtrack, beautiful art, with a big content of mythology and history. This series show me a kind a story that I will love until now (like Vikings or Game of thrones) put together drama, dark characters without fear to show it to a kid, because they not stupid. This series, like many others put the bases to the filmmaker that I want to become, I think that nobody grew up, we just forget that we are children.

Why your study programme?

When I was a child I spent most of my time watching tv, playing videogames and reading books. I was crazy about movies, stories, the characters and since I noticed that the film studies existed dreamed with study it.  But film studies wasn`t a good idea to my mom and family so I decided  to study some more traditional studies, I chose nursing school, but I wasn`t happy in there!  Afer a few years I left the nursing school and looking for a job to survive.   I was alone, without money, scared but at the same time so exited because I can do whatever I want. I worked as a barman, janitor, and in the fast food area, that give me the money to enter to films studies, It has been a long road to stay here, but my hard work and determination are my best qualities.
